products which you may find useful before or during your installation
of NetCOBOL.

1. README Files and Manuals for NetCOBOL Constituent Products

Both the README files and the manuals for all of the component
products that make up NetCOBOL can be viewed using the
Documentation Viewer. The Documentation Viewer is installed
in the Start > Programs > Fujitsu NetCOBOL for Windows V9 group
when you install the NetCOBOL software.
NOTE: You need Internet Explorer 4.0 or later to use the
Documentation Viewer. Earlier releases will issue the message:
"Failed to create empty document" and the Documentation Viewer
   will not start.

7. License Options:

For assistance in packaging applications, runtime installers for
NetCOBOL (including PowerCOBOL and PowerFORM) are available for
download for customers with a current maintenance agreement.
Beginning with NetCOBOL Version 9.0, msm merge modules are also
provided that can be used to incorporate NetCOBOL runtime functionality
into installers that are built using tools such as
WiX (see wix.sourceforge.net) or other commercially available installer
products. For those customers who have used the installation "wrapper"
technology in previous versions of NetCOBOL to build installers, this
wrapper will continue to be made available, but its use will decrease,
since installers built with this technology work only on Windows 2000
and Windows XP, but not on Windows Vista. For usage and licensing
information, please refer to information found on the Web at
   www.netcobol.com/license.
To download runtime installers, msm merge modules, and installation
wrappers, please visit our web site at www.netcobol.com/download.
